OUR TRAINEESHIPS
Workways can assist with supporting people into traineeships that allow a person to discover whether that industry is a career pathway they would like to understand without locking themselves into a job.
A traineeship is a type of work-based learning program that provides individuals with practical work experience and training in a specific field or industry. Traineeships are typically designed for young people who have completed their formal education and are looking to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enter the workforce.
During a traineeship, participants work under the supervision of experienced professionals and receive on-the-job training and mentoring. They may also receive classroom-based instruction to supplement their hands-on learning. Traineeships are often used as a stepping stone to employment, as they provide participants with valuable work experience, industry-specific skills, and a network of contacts in their chosen field. Some traineeships may also lead to formal qualifications, such as a certificate or diploma.
Hungry Jack’s Traineeships
Workways are currently partnering with Hungry Jack’s to provide an extended traineeship operating from East Gippsland, Latrobe Valley and the outer Melbourne suburbs. The traineeship will lead to further advancement within the organisation and focus on building all skills and capabilities necessary for future employment.
envite Traineeships
Envite has a number of traineeships in Conservation and Ecosystem Management. The paid traineeships cover a diverse portfolio of tasks and trainees gain an opportunity to receive practical on-the-job skills and work experience that they wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to complete.
Envite’s traineeships are located in eastern Victoria, northern New South Wales, south east and northern Queensland.
