OUR PEOPLE

kylie
community relationship coordinator
“Workways has supported my career progression, while empowering me to be my authentic self at work.” I joined Workways in October 2021 as a Recruitment Partner for Disability Employment Services. It was a dynamic role where I worked closely with employers and Participants, advocating for their strengths, and helping them find the right fit. I was honoured to be named Employee of the Year in recognition of my performance and commitment to organisational values. When the contract ended, I knew I didn’t want to leave. Workways’ values – ethical, respectful, engaged, accountable, sustainable – deeply align with my own values. I was passionate about staying in the sector. Workways supported me through that transition by offering internal opportunities. My application for Activities Coordinator was successful and allowed me to continue with Workways and expand my skillset. More recently, I’ve stepped into a new position as Community Relationship Coordinator. It’s a role shaped around my unique strengths, and I’ve been empowered with the flexibility to make it my own. The leadership team encourages me to identify gaps, create solutions, and collaborate freely. That kind of professional development and recognition means a lot, and it’s backed by organisation wide rewards and recognition. What stands out about Workways is the culture. Everyone’s down to earth, grass roots, and genuinely supportive. You’re never alone, whether you’re reaching out across departments or leaning on your team, there’s always someone ready to help. Workways isn’t just a place to work; it’s a pace to grow, be recognised, and most importantly, be your authentic self.
