WHAT IS Transition to Work?
Our Transition to Work program helps young people aged between 15 – 24 years old, gain the confidence and skills needed to move into a job.
Our Youth Development Coach will get to know you, identify your strengths and interests and work with you to create a Job Plan so you feel empowered and prepared for employment. They’ll also connect you with local employers and jobs to suit your needs.
We take the time to get to know you, provide motivational and coaching support and have access to a range of activities, training and youth services that will help you to achieve your goals.
HOW WE HELP
Our team provides assistance in:
- seeking sustainable employment,
- resume writing, interview preparation
- connecting you to local employers and jobs
- providing access to other support services
- upskilling and training opportunities.
eLIGIBILITY
Transition to Work is for young people who:
- Are aged between 15-24 years old
- Are an early school leaver or have had difficulty entering employment after school
- Are located in the Gippsland/Latrobe Valley region in Victoria
