NDIS Services Launching in Queensland

In an effort to provide more comprehensive employment and job-readiness support to people with disability, Workways will be launching NDIS services in Brisbane and Cairns in the new financial year.

NDIS Project Manager, Beck Honey says that Workways is drawing on its years of experience delivering Disability Employment Services to expand its offering “We recognize that for every individual, there are different barriers that exist preventing them from taking their next step into paid employment.

The NDIS allows us to provide individualised support and a more expansive breadth of services to help address those barriers and build requisite skills that lead to employment.” Said Beck.

Workways will commence delivery in July by trialling key services for participants in Cairns and South Brisbane. These services will include group and individualised employment support for school leavers; services for people with disability in existing employment who may need workplace supports; support coordination to help individuals navigate and implement their NDIS plans; and Recovery Coaching to assist people with psychosocial disabilities to manage their mental health, and navigate support services.
