Kids Zine Created by Work for the Dole teams

Our Work for the Dole team in West End, Townsville has developed an action packed Kids’ Zine for parents and carers to download and print for kids.

At a time when many parents across Australia are self-isolating at home with children as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic, this workbook is designed to be incorporated into a homeschooling schedule providing both education and entertainment for kids. It is recommended for kids aged 9-13 but there’s plenty of ideas for all of the family to enjoy.

The Zine was originally developed to print and distribute to children in hospital, and for those children in foster or State care. The team will also be developing editions for younger children.
