“Getting your dream job but don't have all the criteria”

Many jobseekers see jobs up for grabs that they would love to do but don’t apply because they don’t have all the skills and qualifications. Don’t discount yourself just because you don’t have all the requirements

Position descriptions specify both essential criteria and desired criteria.

Essential is obviously what you MUST have.

Whereas the later is what an employer would ideally like to see in their new employee but not necessarily crucial to the job.

If you are really interested in the position and can see yourself doing the job and you really have 60% of the criteria. Why not give the employer an opportunity to at least find out what you can offer the organisation at an interview.
