Intensive Support Customised Assistance

If you have been unemployed for at least 12 months or are in need of individually tailored assistance to help you find work, you may be eligible for Customised Assistance.

Customised Assistance is a six month program and involves:

  • one on one services to address any barriers to employment
  • an initial detailed assessment of your capabilities against potential opportunities available within the local labour market
  • assistance with intensive job search
  • vocational training tailored to job opportunities
  • assistance with finding work experience relevant to your job prospects
  • career guidance
  • work preparation activities

Employment Preparation

If you are a carer, parent or over 50 years old and you are looking to return to the workforce we may be able to help you. Employment Preparation is a program designed to assist and support job seekers make a smooth transition back to work. We provide
  • assessment of your individual needs
  • one on one support and mentoring by experience Employment Training Officer
  • assistance with organised training & skills development
  • $300 available to meet training & job seeking needs
  • career planning advice
  • development of Professional Resume
  • assistance with organising childcare
  • access to listed job vacancies - local, state or national

Employment Service to Aged Pensioners

Employment Service for Aged Pensioners is a program that is available to jobseekers who are receiving an aged pension. Assistance includes:-·          access to listed vacancies locally, state or national·          use of computers, internet, phone, fax and photocopier

·          One on one Employment Preparation
